Ytsevolution was lovingly created by a lifelong fan, and it is much more than a simple compilation album. I chose tracks that I felt best represented the evolution of their music, took one track from every album in the order they were released, and then combined them to create a single listening experience. I would suggest you read through the listening guide before (or while) you listen because it explains why I chose each song and covers the history and highlights of their music.

It should be noted that I am not officially affiliated with Dream Theater. I’m just a fan who has spent more than half of his life enjoying them, and I created this album to share it with the rest of the world. I’m not selling Ytsevolution because it’s not mine to sell. This album has never been released by the band, and if they ever get upset about it I’m obviously going to take it down. However, this is the primary way I have tried to get people addicted to Dream Theater, so I hope they’ll forgive me for using their music to promote them.
